Mandate to collate and assign to Nemeas Ohenrachtaych, canon of Clogher, who has studied canon law for about three years at Oxford, the rectory, commonly called the comorbanship (comorbania), value not exceeding 40 marks, the cure of souls of whose parishioners is exercised by perpetual vicars, of Cluaynoys in the diocese of Clogher, void by the death of Henry Macconulag Magmachuna, notwithstanding that he has been lately admitted by authority of the ordinary as a canon of Clogher, in which church, although there is a fixed (certus) number of canons, there is no separation (distinctio) of prebends, and that a yearly pension of one mark from the episcopal mensa has been assigned to him in place of a prebend, which is insufficient for his support.Vite etc. (Pro deo.)

Mandate to collate and assign to John Werdon, priest, of the diocese of Annadown, the below named and still void chaplaincy, value not exceeding 10 marks. His recent petition contained that the Cistercian abbot and convent of Knockmoy (Collis victorie) in the diocese of Tuam held to their own uses a certain perpetual chaplaincy in the parish church of St. Nicholas, Galway (de Galbia), in the diocese of Annadown and had it served, with licence of the archbishop of Tuam (whose church and that of Annadown are united) by a hired (conducticium) priest at their pleasure; that it was afterwards ordained that the said chapel should be perpetual and be served by a perpetual chaplain, the presentation for the first time and at each voidance belonging to the abbot and convent, and the institution to the archbishop; and that for the said first time they presented John to archbishop Gregory, who instituted him. John now doubts whether the said presentation and institution hold good. Vite etc. (Pro deo.)

Mandate to collate and assign to Thomas Olongain, dean of Clonfert, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 4 marks, of Kyllmacagondain alias Fochinnach in the diocese of Clonfert, void because Maurice Okeallaich held it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation; notwithstanding that Thomas holds the deanery of Clonfert, a major dignity with cure, the canonry and prebend of Theachsassain in Tuam, and a canonry of Cloyne, of a prebend of which church he has been despoiled, value altogether not exceeding 16 marks. He is hereby dispensed to hold together for life the said vicarage and deanery. Vite etc.
