Mandate to proceed against the heretics who are said to exist in his diocese, asserting (1) that it is impossible to merit eternal life by good works, even when informed by or proceeding from grace. (2) That original sin does not deserve damnation, that heaven is not due to baptized infants, that sin was not the cause of Adam's death, and that original sin is no fault.

Mandate to induct William de Gremburgh, into the archdeaconry of Stafford, reserved by Clement VI. in the lifetime of William de Appebare, on whose death provision of it was made by the said pope to Roger de Dorking, canon of Lichfield, who died before getting possession of it, and it has since been unlawfully held in succession by Richard de Birmingham and John de Marisco, for six years.
