Vatican Regesta, Vol. DCCLVII. (fn. 1)

Bullarum Liber LX.

8 Innocent VIII.

Prid. Kal. Oct.
(30 Sept.)
St. Peter's, Rome.
(f. 63v.)
To Henry Vodi (? recte Bodi), rector of the parish church of St. Andrew, Regworth (recte Kegworth), in the diocese of Lincoln (Lincolniensis), M.A. Rehabilitation, etc., as below. His recent petition contained that on the successive voidances extra R.c. of the parish churches of St. Andrew, Regworth [sic], and St. Mary, Vothhamfeir (?), in the dioceses of Lincoln and Llandaff (?) (Lingolniensis [sic] et Landomonsis [sic] diocesum), he got collation and provision made to him thereof by authority of the ordinary, under pretext of which he has detained them together for about six years, without any dispensation, taking the fruits de facto, and thereby contracting disability. The pope, therefore, hereby rehabilitates him, who is a priest, and who is still holding, inter cetera, the said churches, the yearly value of which does not exceed 80 gold ducates of the Camera, and dispenses him to retain the said churches in virtue of the said collations and provisions, and if he resign one of them to receive and retain for life any one other benefice, and without both of them any two other benefices, with cure or otherwise incompatible, and to resign them, etc. Solet apostolice sedis benigna clementia. [3 pp. +. In the margin at the end: ‘Oct(obris).’]

Romani pontificis providentia circumspecta. [3⅓ pp. In the margin at the beginning: ‘Sigismundus.’ Below the text, at the end, is ‘Collat(ionata) Phy(lippus) de Pontecurvo. P.
