To William Shirwodi, a canon of Llandaff, doctor of decrees. Appointing him (he having been found fit by examination in presence of Julian, cardinal priest of St. Peter's in Chains (ad Vincula), the pope's major penitentiary) to be a minor penitentiary in the basilica of the Prince of the Apostles de Urbe and a chaplain of the pope, with the enjoyment of all privileges etc., in the room of the late Thomas Purueour, some time minor penitentiary for the English Scots and Irish nations and a papal chaplain, who has died at the apostolic see; with mandate hereby to the said cardinal to cause him to be inducted to office, and with the form of oath (in full) which he is to take to the said cardinal.
