EDUCATION.

There was a small Sunday school in 1818 (fn. 1) which had lapsed by 1825. (fn. 2) A Sunday school started in 1831 had 25 boys in 1833. (fn. 3) There was no school in 1847, and there were said to be not enough children for a Sunday school. (fn. 4) The children afterwards went to schools in neighbouring parishes. (fn. 5)
