  • 1. Ely. The lists for the College and Chettisham are given separately after the list for St. Mary but they have no heading and the hearths are included in the total for St. Mary. Among the College entries are the Porter's Lodge and Schoolhouse, each with one hearth.
  • 2. Whittlesey and Thorney are listed at the end of Wisbech hundred and their hearths are included in its total. Whittlesey includes the inhabitants of Coates, Eastrea and Pondsbridge, who are listed separately in 1666.
  • 3. Leverington includes the inhabitants of Parson Drove, who are listed separately in 1666 and 1674.
  • 4. Wisbech includes the inhabitants of High Fen, Murrow and Guyhirn, Tholomas Drove and Wisbech St. Mary, who are separately listed in 1666.
  • 5. The places which later constituted the two divisions of this hundred are grouped together.
