HAZLETON
(11 miles N. of Cirencester)
(1) Probable Romano-British Settlement (around SP 075212), lies 2 miles N. of the village, on the plateau at about 860 ft. above O.D.
A silver Dobunnic coin inscribed ANTED was found with Romano-British pottery, including samian, iron slag and burnt stones. The finds are in a private collection.
