(12 miles N. of Cirencester)
'Puckham Camp' (fn. 1) (SP 013228), no longer accepted as a hill-fort, probably originates in the remains of linear quarrying.
(1) Enclosure (SP 05722065), 150 yds. E. of Hampen Cottages, shows as a crop-mark on an air photograph (Plate 54). The ditched perimeter is roughly square and encloses about ½ acre, above the 800-ft. contour. The entrance is on the east.
