To the worshipfull the justices of the peace at the general
[quarter?] sessions of the peace held at the Guildhall in the city
[of Worcester?] for the county of Worcester assembled on Tuesday
the sixteenth day of July one thousand seven hundred and
[fifty one?]

We whose names are hereunto [subscribed being?] of his
[illegible] protestant subjects dissenting from the Church of England under the
[illegible] of quakers, do hereby certify a barn situate in Bromsgrove
in the county of Worcester aforesaid now or late in the occupation of Thomas
Shelfield and James Wooley as a place of meeting or religious worship for us
and others a congregation of protestant dissenters under the denomination
aforesaid and from henceforth to be and continue as such in persuance of
an act of Parliament made and passed in the first years of their late
majesties King William and Queen Mary intituled An Act for Exempting
their Majesties Protestant Subjects Dissenting from the Church of England
from the Penalties of Certain Laws and do petition that the same may be
[recorded?] at the said quarter sessions as a place of meeting for divine
worship accordingly. As witness our hands the said sixteenth day of July
[one?] thousand seven hundred and fifty one.

To his majestys justices of the peace for the county of Worcester in their general quarter sessions assembled

The humble petition of William Pearce of Buckland Dinham in the county of Somerset yeoman
and Joseph Cooke of Frome Selwood in the said county of Somerset maltster and baker.

Sheweth
That your petitioners [illegible] are the major part of the creditors of James Mees late of Elme in the county of
Somerset lately discharged from his imprisonment for debt in his majestys goal for the county of Worcester for debt by
virtue of the act of Parliament made and passed in the twenty eighth year of his present majestys reign intituled
An Act for Releif of Insolvent Debtors who have thought fit to apply for an assignment and distribution of his estate
and effects.

That the said James Mees your petitioner's said debtor did at the time of his discharge deliver in
a schedule in obedience to the said act of Parliament containing diverse goods debts and effects which and all his
estate real and personal is now vested in the clerk of the peace for the said county of Worcester for the purposes in the
said act directed and hereby prayed

Your petitioners therefore humbly pray that this honourable court
will order the clerk of the peace for the said county of Worcester to execute such
assignment of the said debtor's estate and effects as the said act requires unto your petitioner Joseph
Cooke of Frome Selwood in the said county of Somerset malster and baker [illegible] one of
the principal creditors of the said debtor whom I we have nominated appointed
and made choice of and do hereby nominate appoint and make choice of
to be assignee thereof in trust for himself and the rest of the said creditors
