Assistant to Commissioners for Old Accounts 1686-9

In 1686 a salary of £400 was made available to Thomas Hayter, formerly the Assistant Controller, to act as Assistant to the Commissioners for Old Accounts. (fn. 1) The office was discontinued on Hayter's death in January 1689.
