Manager of Ticket Office 1673-4
The Ticket Office was usually managed by one of the members of the Navy Board. (fn. 1) But in February 1673 the distinct office of Manager of the Ticket Office, to which appointment was made by Admiralty warrant, was created at a salary of £300 for the duration of the Third Dutch War. (fn. 1) The office was discontinued in March 1674. (fn. 1)
