Keeper of Records 1809-16
This office was created in 1809 with a salary of £500. (fn. 1) In 1812 an additional allowance of £50 a year was made available to the Keeper of the Records in consideration of his acting as Librarian. (fn. 2) The office ceased to exist in 1816 when it was provided that the duties should be undertaken by one of the First Class Clerks. (fn. 3)
