Pleading: Reginald, prior of St Bartholomew, West Smithfield, states that on 20 February 1441, William Blakwelle, formerly of Pinner, now deceased, made a bond with him in 100m, payable at Michaelmas then next. In his lifetime, WB paid 40m of this debt, but did not pay the remaining £40, and nor has William Blakwelle of Totteridge, his administrator, to his damage of £10. He shows the bond in court.

Pleading: WB the administrator is granted licence to imparl to octave of Michaelmas, with assent of the prior.

Pleading: Jury in respite to octave of Martinmas. On that day, parties and jury came. RC said that RE, after the previous postponement, by a document which he shows in court, dated in London on 16 November 1461, released him from all actions, etc, outstanding between them.

Pleading: JW and RE state that their action should not cease, as RE states that this release is not of his making. Enquiry by country. Sheriff of London to have jury here at octave of Hilary.
