Footnotes

  • 1.
  • 2. Reg. Vat. DCCLXXII, the first of the Registers of Alexander VI (which are bound in blue, except the last seven of them, whereas those of Innocent VIII are bound in red), is described on the back as ‘Alex. vi. Bullar. Ann. i. Tom. i.’ It naturally consists almost entirely of bulls of Alexander VI, but contains a few of Innocent VIII, viz. two on ff. 241v.–244v. (afterwards registered, as notes in the margin certify, ‘in libro 69. Innocentii,’ i.e. Reg. Vat. DCCLXVI), one on ff. 247r.–248r., and one on ff. 261r.–263v. None of them concerns the Calendar.
