Motu proprio reservation to the pope's gift, for collation to him, of a benefice with or without cure, even if of lay patronage, value 25 or 18 marks sterling, respectively, in the gift of the archbishop and the dean and chapter, etc. of Tuam. 1482[–3]. 14 Kal. April. (19 March.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 132r.)	To Robert, [bishop] elect of Glasgow. Motu proprio indult to him (whom, being [bishop] elect of Aberdeen, and not yet consecrated, the pope has this day translated to the church of Glasgow, and who is receiving by a late papal grant yearly pensions of 160 and 30 marks of the money of Scotland from the monastery of Melros', O. Cist., in the diocese of Glasgow, and the precentorship of Dunkeld), that even after he has been consecrated and has obtained possession of the said church of Glasgow, he may continue to receive the said pensions for life, and as long as he shall be bishop of Glasgow; the pope hereby annulling whatever has been done against him during his absence from Scotland and after his return (fn. 1) by the abbots of Noubetil and Coupar (de Cupro). 1483. Id. April. (13 April.) St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 252v.)	To the archbishops of Dublin and Colossi (fn. 2) (Colocen.), and the archdeacon of Richmond in York. Mandate, as below. The recent petition of Marmaduke Lomellai, a brother of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, contained that the Hospitaller's priory of Ireland (fn. 3) having become void by the deprivation of James Keting made by the master and convent, they have granted it for ten years to the said Marmaduke under a yearly payment. The pope, therefore, hereby orders the above three to induct him into possession of the said priory, removing the said James. He also exemplifies the letters Digne credimus agere of brother Peter de Daubusson, master, and the convent of the Hospital, addressed to brother Marmaduke Lomelay, a knight of the priory of England, and dated at Rhodes on 20 Dec. 1482.
