To the dean of Clogher. Mandate to grant in commendam, until he has attained his twenty-second year, and, after he has attained the said year, to collate and assign to James

Malachy Obrayn, priest, of the same diocese (who has unduly detained possession for more than four years under a collation made to him by pretext of papal letters containing no mention of the then detainer, as required by a constitution of the present pope [see Ottenthal, Regulæ Canc. 3 Id. Sept. Genazzano. (f. 192.) |
To John Ocormucayn, rector of the parish churches of Fiecall Kyllwarayn and Oconnyllyd, in the diocese of Killaloe. Grant as below. The pope lately ordered provision to be made to him (who had received papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman related in the second and second degrees of affinity, to be promoted etc. as above, f. 24) of the rectory, called Oconnyllyd Ardacha and Lelynne, of the patronage of laymen, of the parish churches, wont to be governed by a sole rector, of Fyecall Kyllwarayn and Oconnyllyd, on its voidance by the death, so long ago that its collation had lapsed to the apostolic see, of Patrick Omulchayd. At his petition—containing that although provision has been made to him in virtue of the said mandate, and that he has obtained possession, it is asserted that the said rectory is not called as above, but is called the rectory of the parish churches of Fyecall and, in lay fee, Kyllwarayn, alias of Oconnyllyd Ardacha and Lelynne, in the said diocese, and that it became void because William Ocormuchayn held it for more than a year without being ordained priest, and is still void—the pope grants to him, who is a priest, and has studied canon law for some time, that the said mandate and consequent provision shall hold good and take effect even if the said rectory, whose value does not exceed 15 marks, became void by the said nonpromotion or in any other way, and as if in the said mandate the rectory had been described as it is alleged that it ought to have been. (Vite etc. Ri. xvi. Quartodecimo Kal. Novembris Anno Undecimo. coldus.) |

To Nicholas Ograda, canon of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to Donatus Orodayn, priest, of the diocese of Killaloe, the perpetual vicarage of Magnio in the said diocese,
value not exceeding 3 marks, void because Patrick Ochaayn has obtained by authority of the ordinary collation of the perpetual vicarage of Tomgrene in the same diocese; Donald Ohanarthyd, priest, of the same diocese, who has unduly detained possession for more than four years without papal or ordinary authority or canonical title, being summoned and removed. Dignum etc. (Pe. xx. Quartodecimo Kal. Novembris Anno Undecimo. de Casatiis.) |
7 Kal. Oct. SS. Apostoli, Rome. (f. 243d.) |
To the abbot of St. Mary's, Monasteranenagh (de Magio), in the diocese of Limerick, and Gilbert Oleayn and Maurice Ocongaly, canons of Limerick. Cornelius is hereby dispensed on account of his said defect of age. Vite etc. (Ri. xxiiii. Quartodecimo Kal. Novembris Anno Undecimo. coldus.) |

Cristinus is hereby dispensed to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold the said vicarage. Vite etc. (Pe. Gratis pro deo de mandato. Id. Novembris Anno Undecimo.de Casatiis.) [See Cal. Lett. marks, void by the death of John Mechramayn; notwithstanding that the pope has ordered provision to be made to him of the said canonry and prebend, value not exceeding 12 marks. Dignum etc. (Pe. etc. as in the preceding.) |

To the archdeacon of Killala. Mandate to collate and assign to Maurice Ohannrohy, priest, of the diocese of Killala, the perpetual vicarage of Balieascaerig in the said diocese, value not exceeding 6 marks, which became void because Dermit Obragan obtained, by collation made by authority of the ordinary, the perpetual vicarage of Lyllenmyn in the same diocese; although the said Dermit, who is to be summoned and removed, has unduly detained possession for more than four years since obtaining the said other vicarage. Dignum etc. (Pe. xx. Quinto Kal. Decembris Anno Duodecimo. de Casatiis.) [See Cal. Lett. VI, p. 480.] |

Lett.
