  • 1. On the back of the volume is the usual modern description in Italian: Paolo II. 1464. Anno 1. Lib. 1, and a modern flyleaf has Mgr. Wenzel's ‘An. 1 to. 13.’ A contemporary end-paper has the contemporary descrip tion: Secundus de benefitiis vacantibus anno primo domini nostri domini Pauli pape ii., as well as the contemporary instruction: R(ecipe) Bayer, H., and the answering ‘Rubricatus [est].’ The above contemporary description ‘Secunduspape ii.’ Occurs also, as usual, on the bottom edge of the volume. This Register, which comprises ff. i.-cccxv. of text, contains nothing within the scope of the present Calendar.
