To Richard Bovet (or Bonet), rector of the parish church of St. Mary, Cadfridi (sic), in the diocese of Salisbury. Dispensation to receive and retain for life together with the said church of Cadfridi, value not exceeding 20 marks sterling, any one other benefice, or if he resign the said church, any two other benefices, with cure or otherwise incompatible, even if two parish churches or their perpetual vicarages or dignities etc., even major or principal dignities or such mixed, and to resign them, simply or for exchange, as often as he pleases. To Vincent Clementis, a canon of Valencia (Valentin.), S.T.M., a subdeacon of the pope. Reservation and assignment to him—Hector de Cocquerel, a canon of Rouen, doubting the validity of a collation and provision made to him by authority of the ordinary of the parish church of St. Peter. Montfort (de Monteforti) in the diocese of Rouen, and the said Clement having by proctor ceded to the pope all right belonging to him in or to the said church, collation of which he alleged to have been canonically made to him, and the pope having this day ordered provision to be made thereof to the said Hector—of a yearly pension for life of 120 new écus of gold of France on the fruits etc. of the said church, to be paid to him in the Roman court at Easter by the said Hector, who has consented, and by his successors in the rectory, etc. Grata devotionis obsequia. |

To all Christ's faithful etc. Relaxation in perpetuity of seven years and seven quarantines of enjoined penance to penitents who on the Annunciation and Assumption of St. Mary the Virgin visit and give alms for the repair and restoration of the church of the Augustinian monastery of St. Mary, Damynys, in the diocese of Clogher, the buildings of which church and monastery were many years ago (fn. 3) accidentally burned, so that the canons regular cannot live there and serve God as they used to do, wherefore the faithful, whose devotion to the monastery used to be great, cease to visit it for masses and other divine offices, and are daily becoming cold in their devotion.
