Ground landlords.

Messrs. J. Marshall and Co. are the freeholders and occupiers of No. 28. No. 29 is the property of the Trustees of the late T. Miller, and Mr. R. Oxley is the freeholder of No. 30.

General description of structure.

The exterior of these premises, which consist of two storeys and basement, is cemented over, and has plain bands at the first-floor level and over the windows. The walls at the rear are carried up with high-pitched gables and the roofs are tiled. Some of the rooms have square deal panelling and moulded cornices (Plate 64), while the staircases have turned balusters with moulded strings. That in No. 28 has spiral balusters (Plate 66).

Condition of premises.

Portions of the interior of Nos. 28 and 29 have been altered and the walls stripped No. 30 is used for residential purposes and is in a good state of repair.
