PRAYERS.

Subsidy Bill.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for granting to Her Majesty a further Subsidy on Wines and Merchandizes imported," shall be read a Second Time on Monday next, at Twelve a Clock.

Mutiny Bill:

The House, pursuant to Order, was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for punishing Mutiny and Desertion, and false Musters; and for the better Payment of the Army and Quarters."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Halifax, reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it sit to pass, with One Amendment."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for punishing Mutiny and Desertion, and false Musters; and for the better Payment of the Army and Quarters."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, as amended, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with an Amendment to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Richard Holford and Mr. Rogers:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendment made thereto.

Message from thence, for a Free Conference, about the Proceedings concerning the Ailsbury Men.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Hanmer and others, to this Effect; (videlicet,)

"I am commanded, by the Commons, to acquaint your Lordships, That when your Lordships sent, Yesterday in the Afternoon, after Three a Clock, to desire a Free Conference upon the Subject-matter of the last Conference, the House was just a rising: But the House will meet your Lordships, at a Free Conference, as your Lordships have desired, at such Time as your Lordships shall appoint; the Time appointed Yesterday by your Lordships being now pass."

Then the Commons were called in; and told, "That the Lords appoint the Free Conference, at Two a Clock this Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber."

Message from H. C. to return the Bill for continuing Acts, &c.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Mathew Dudley and others:

To acquaint this House, that they have agreed to their Lordships Amendments made to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making perpetual an Act for the more easy Recovery of small Tithes; and also an Act for the more easy obtaining Partition of Lands in Coparcenary, Joint Tenancy, and Tenancy in Common; and also for making perpetual and amending several Acts relating to the Return of Jurors."

Free Conference, concerning the Ailsbury Men.

The Commons being come to the Free Conference, the Managers Names were read.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Free Conference.

Which being ended, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Sunderland reported, "That the Lords had been at the Free Conference; which was managed, on the Part of the Commons, by Mr. Bromley, Sir Thomas Powys, Sir Humphry Mackworth, Sir John Hawles, Mr. Pooley, Mr. Commins, Mr. Brewer, and Mr. Ward."

Lords insist on their Resolutions concerning the Proceedings with regard to them.

Then, it being proposed, "To insist on the Resolutions of this House of the Seven and Twentieth of February last:"

1. The First of those Resolutions was read.

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on this Resolution?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

2. Then the Second Resolution was read.

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on this Resolution?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

3. Then the Third Resolution was read.

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on this Resolution?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

4. Then the Fourth Resolution was read.

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on this Resolution?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

5. Then the Fifth Resolution was read.

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on this Resolution?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

6. Then the Sixth Resolution was read.

The Question was put, "Whether this House shall insist on this Resolution?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
