PRAYERS.

Weedon Ford versus Reginam, in Error.

Upon reading the Petition of William Weedon Ford; shewing, "That he brought a Writ of Error into this House, the Twelfth Instant, to reverse a Judgement given for Her Majesty in the Court of Queen's Bench; and that, at the Trial, (fn. 1) when the Verdict upon which the said Judgement was founded, the Petitioner taking Exception in Point of Law to the Testimony of the Witness produced to prove the Fact; and the Lord Chief Justice Holt and Mr. Justice Gold, who tried the said Cause, over-ruling the same, the Petitioner prayed a Bill of Exceptions; which the said Judges granted and sealed, but have not as yet acknowledged the same, as the Statute directs, so that the Petitioner cannot assign all his Errors till the said Bill of Exceptions is acknowledged; and praying the said Judges may attend, to own their Seals:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lord Chief Justice Holt and Mr. Justice Gold do, To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock, attend this House, in order to own their Seals to the said Bill of Exceptions; and that the Petitioner do, on or before Wednesday next, assign Errors in this Case.

Adjourn.
