Upon reading the Petition of Henry Bowman; praying Leave to bring in a Bill for his Naturalization; being of the Protestant Religion, and having given Testimony of his Loyalty to Her Majesty:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner hath hereby Leave given him to bring in a Bill, as desired.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees the Two Bills following; (videlicet,)

Cresset, Nat. Bill.

1. "An Act for naturalizing Lovise Marie Cressett, the Wife of James Cressett Esquire."

Visc. Teviott, Nat. Bill.

2. "An Act for naturalizing Thomas Levingston, Viscount Teviott in the Kingdom of Scotland."

As fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Lovise Marie Cressett, the Wife of James Cressett Esquire."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
