1329. Non. Feb. Avignon. (f. 18d.)	To Adam de Bridlynton, already dispensed on account of illegitimacy, and rector of a moiety of Aylmerton, in the diocese of Norwich, value 5½ marks. Dispensation to resign the same and accept another benefice.
9 Kal. Mar. Avignon. (f. 28d.)	To William de Bulge. Provision of the rectory of Soudburg, in the diocese of Lincoln, void by the death of Roger de Swafeld; notwithstanding that he is rector of Estlexham, which he is to resign.
	Concurrent mandate to the archdeacon of Northampton, and two others named.

Provision of a canonry of Salisbury, with reservation of a prebend; notwithstanding that he has a perpetual portion in the nuns’ monastery of Shaftesbury, and the prebendal portion of Funtemel (Fonthill), in the same, and is rector of Wry[n]gton, in the diocese of Bath.
	Concurrent mandate to the abbots of Glastonbury and Middleton, and another named.

6 Kal. Mar. Avignon. (f. 178.)	To the bishop of Lincoln. Commission and mandate to appropriate to the abbot and Augustinian convent of Roucester, in Dolwedale, the parish church of Wodeforde, of their patronage, value 20 marks; a perpetual vicar being appointed.

Id. Mar. Avignon. (f. 247.)	To Walter Herok. Provision of a canonry of Dunkeld, with reservation of a prebend, notwithstanding that he is dean of Moray, and has canonries of Glasgow and Aberdeen, with expectation of prebends.

Ibid.	To Adam de Invernary, perpetual chaplain in Elgin, the value of the chaplaincy being 5 marks. Reservation of a benefice in the gift of the abbot and convent of Abirbrothok, value 20 marks with cure of souls, or 15 without it.

Non. May. Avignon. (f. 279d.)	To Itherius de Concoreto, canon of Salisbury. Commission and mandate to ascertain the yearly revenues of the archbishop of Cashel, and to send a report under seal to the pope. Archbishop John states that his predecessor, Stephen, promised a yearly subvention of 728 marks to the papal camera and college of cardinals, but did not pay it. Maurice and William, his successors, acknowledged the obligation, but were unable to pay the money, and John, now translated from Meath, declares that the revenues of the see amount to no more than 250 marks, the arrears of subvention due coming to a total of 7800 florins, at the rate of 5 florins to 1 mark.

	Concurrent mandate to Peter de Jocellis, prior of Lewes, the prior of Winchester, and the archdeacon of Northampton.
1328. Id. Oct. Avignon. (f. 311d.)	To Robert, king of Scotland. Absolution from the excommunication pronounced by Luke, cardinal of St. Mary's in Via Lata, whose monitions to make peace with the king of England he refused to obey, and broke the truce, seizing Berwick and other towns, and disregarded the pope's citation. But having sent the bishops of St. Andrews, Moray, and Brechin, and Adam de Moravia, doctor of canon law as his envoys and proctors to the pope to beg for absolution and removal of the interdict under which his kingdom had been placed, and they by his order having taken oath to obey the commands of the pope and the church, the pope grants absolution, and relaxes the interdict for two years. As penance it is enjoined that he is not to break the truce or invade England, any further penance being reserved by the pope.
	Concurrent letter to all archbishops, bishops, and prelates, directing them to announce the said absolution and relaxation. [Theiner, 240.]

2 Id. May. Avignon. (f. 322d.)	To Master Richard de Pilmore. Provision of a canonry of Moray, with reservation of a prebend, notwithstanding that he has a canonry and prebend of Ross, and provision of a canonry of Aberdeen with the prebend of Crudan, and a canonry of Dunkeld, with expectation of a prebend.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Ross, the treasurer of Dunkeld, and another named.
12 Kal. April. Avignon. (f. 345d.)	To Nicholas Johannis Grif. Provision of the canonry and prebend of Crediton void by the death of John de Vrigge.

13 Kal. Feb. Avignon. (f. 347.)	To the bishop and archdeacon of Cork and Simon Sapiti, canon of Florence. Mandate to assign to John de Preston, the canonry and prebend of Lismore, void by the consecration of Walter, bishop of Cork, notwithstanding that he is cannon of Cashel, Cork, and Waterford, and rector of Kilkide, in the diocese of Limerick, value 4 marks.
