Lords take the Oaths.

This Day John Lord Archbishop of York, Daniel Earl of Nottingham, and Thomas Lord Viscount Weymouth, took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute; and also took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same, pursuant to the late Act of Parliament.

Stone's Bill.

The Lord Viscount Longueville reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual Settlement of the Estate of John Stone, of Baldwin Brightwel, in the County of Oxford, Esquire, in his Family and Name," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual Settlement of the Estate of John Stone, of Baldwin Brightwel, in the County of Oxford, Esquire, in his Family and Name."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Gery and Mr. Rogers:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendments.

Bagnall's Bill.

Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys versus Attorney General & al.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys, from a Decree formerly made in the Court of Exchequer, and re-heard the Thirteenth Day of February last, on the Behalf of His Majesty's Attorney General, and the Commissioners of the Cuftoms; and praying the Reversal and altering of the said Decree; as also upon the Answer of Edward Northey Esquire, His Majesty's Attorney General, and Charles Godolphin Esquire, Sir Walter Young, Samuel Clarke, Benjamin Overton, and Robert Henley, Esquires, Commissioners of His Majesty's Customs, put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree of the Court of Exchequer therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Address for Guard for Westm. Hall.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do humbly move Her Majesty, from this House, That She will be pleased to give Order for the Guarding of Westminster Hall."

Lords to sign Tickets for the Coronation.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Officers attending this House, do take Care to keep the Places appointed for the Lords Tickets in Westminster Hall free; and that every Lord do sign and seal his Tickets, and none to be let into such Places but those who have their Tickets so signed and sealed; and also that the Tickets given to the Judges and Her Majesty's Attorney General be signed and sealed by them.

William Poultney and William Harris were sworn, to the Truth of the Earl of Berkeley's Certificate of his receiving the Sacrament.

Then the Earl of Berkeley took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute 25° Caroli Secundi; and also took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same.

L. Mohun takes the Oaths.

William Ireland and John Swaine, were sworn to the Truth of the Lord Mohun's Certificate of his receiving the Sacrament.

Then Charles Lord Mohun took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute 25° Caroli Secundi; and also took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same.
