Whitchurch, Lands in, to be sold, Bill.

The Lord Jeffreys reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting several Messuages, Lands, and Tenements, in the Parish of Whitchurch, in the County of Chester, in Trustees, to be sold, for paying off the Incumbrances charged thereon, and for other Uses therein mentioned," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Sir W. Meredith's Bill.

The Earl of Warrington reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling Sir W'm Meredith Baronet to sell Part of a Capital Messuage, and other Things, in Ashley, in the County of Chester, he having settled other Lands and Tenements in Lieu thereof," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

St. Leger et al. Nat. Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Thomas St. Leger de Bacalon, Joseph Lanoy, Alexander de Raquet des Fourneaux, and others."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Mr. Grey:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Message from H. C. to return the Bill for settling the Succession, &c.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Charles Hedges and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the further Security of His Majesty's Person, and the Succession of the Crown in the Protestant Line; and for extinguishing the Hopes of the pretended Prince of Wales, and all other Pretenders, and their open and secret Abettors;" and to acquaint their Lordships, that they have agreed to the Amendments made by this House, with an Amendment, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Minshall versus Minshull:

After hearing Counsel this Day, upon the Petition and Appeal of Richard Minshall Esquire, from a Decree or Order made in the Court of Exchequer, the Fifth Day of December One Thousand Six Hundred Ninetynine, on the Behalf of Peter Minshall, Samuel Sherrard, Thomas Penlington, and Benjamin Penlington; and Praying, "That the said Decree or Order, and Proceedings for dismissing of the Petitioner's Bill, may be reversed;" as also upon the Answer of the said Peter Minshall, Samuel Sherrard, Thomas Penlington, and Benjamine Penlington; put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Richard Minshall shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree or Order, and Proceedings of the Court of Exchequer; therein complained of, shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.
