Message from H. C. with Bills.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Duncomb and others; who brought up Five Bills, whereto their Lordships Concurrence is desired:
1. "An Act to enable Francis Cottington, or Charles Cottington, to settle and dispose of Lands in Jointure, for any Wife or Wives they shall take in Marriage."
2. "An Act for the Sale of certain Lands, for Payment of the Debts of Sir Sackvile Glemham."
3. "An Act to enable Charles Cotton Esquire to make Leases of Lands, for Payment of Debts."
4. "An Act for settling the Charitable Gift of Abraham Colfe Clerk, for erecting and endowing Two Freeschools and an Alms-house at Lewisham in Kent."
5. "An additional Act to explain and supply a former Act for settling the Draining of the Great Level of the Fens, called Bedford Levell."
Falmouth Church Bill.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the making of the Church erected at Falmouth a Parish Church, and no Part of the Parish of Gluvias, or Chapelry of St. Budock."
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Walter Littleton and Sir Toby Wolrich:
To deliver to them the Bill for making the Church at Falmouth Parochial, and desire their Concurrence thereto.
Bill for collecting Hearthmoney.
The Lord Chamberlain reported, "That the Committee of the whole House have thought fit to make some Alterations and Amendments in the Bill concerning the collecting of the Hearth-money; which they offer to their Lordships Consideration."
The said Alterations were read Twice, and Agreed to.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for collecting the Duty arising by Hearth-money by Officers appointed by His Majesty."
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations and Amendments now read, shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Justinian Lewin and Sir William Glascock:
To return them the Bill for collecting the Duty of Hearth-money, wherein the Lords agree, with some Alterations and Amendments; and desire their Concurrence therein.
Bill against seditious Conventicles.
Next, the House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure, to take into Consideration the Bill to prevent and suppress seditious Conventicles.
The House being resumed;
It is ORDERED, That the further Debate of this Bill shall be resumed on Monday Morning next.
