ORDERED, That Counsel on both Sides shall be heard, at this Bar, To-morrow Morning, concerning the Matter contained in the Bill for Confirmation of the Sale of some of the Lands of Sir Rob't Howard deceased.
D. of York's Bill:
The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have taken into Consideration the Bill for settling the Profits of the Office of Wine Licenses and the Post-office upon his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke; wherein there are some Alterations and Amendments offered to the Consideration of the House."
The said Alterations and Amendments, being read Twice, were Agreed to.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for settling the Profits of the Post-office, and Power of granting Wine Licenses, on his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke, and the Heirs Males of his Body."
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Alterations and Amendments, shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Moundeford Brampston and Sir William Glascocke:
To return them the Bill concerning the Post-office, and the granting of Wine Licenses, with the Alterations and Amendments therein; and to desire the Concurrence of the House of Commons therein.

This Day Alexander Fytton, Edward Lloyd, John Cade, and John Wright, were brought as Delinquents to this Bar; and the Lord Chancellor pronounced the Judgement of this House upon them, they kneeling at the Bar.

ORDERED, That the Referees for composing the Differences between the Lord of Abergaveny and the Lady Dowager of Abergaveny do meet To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock.
Committees to meet.
ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill for Encouragement of Trade do meet To-morrow Morning; and the Committee for the Bill against Duels, and the Committee for the Bill concerning the Heralds, and the Committee for the Bill concerning Felons, do meet this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.
Subsidy of the Clergy Bill.
This Day the Lord Bishop of London, being the Eldest Bishop of the Province of Canterbury, in the Absence of the Archbishop of Cant. acquainted the House, "That the Clergy in Convocation assembled have presented to the King a Grant of Four Subsidies, which His Majesty hath commanded him to deliver to this House, that so it may receive the usual Confirmation of the Houses of Parliament."
His Lordship delivered the same into the Hands of the Lord Chancellor.
And this House gave Directions to Mr. Attorney General to put it into the usual Manner of Proceedings, as formerly hath been.
Bedford Level Bill.
The Counsel and Witnesses of the Old Adventurers and New Adventurers were heard this Day, at the Bar, upon the Matter contained in the Bill for draining the Great Level of the Fens, called Bedford Levell. And afterwards it was committed to the Consideration of these Lords following; to whose Consideration are referred all the Petitions and Provisos delivered into this House:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings, at Three of the Clock.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir William Compton and others; who brought up a Bill for granting Four entire Subsidies to His Majesty by the Temporalty; whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.
