David de Edevy, archdeacon of Brechin, M.A. and scholar of canon law for three years. For the church of Enverarite, in the diocese of St. Andrews, value 16l. void by the death of Robert Fleming so long ago that it has lapsed to the apostolic see.

William, bishop of Moray. For provision anew of the precentorship and annexed canonry and prebend, value 40l. given by him to William de Felton, of noble birth, succentor of the church, on their voidance by the resignation of James, son of John, earl of Moray, a minor, aged fourteen, who held them on the presentation of the king, when void by the consecration of the bishop.

On behalf of his kinsman, John Steward, perpetual vicar of Irvyn, in the diocese of Glasgow, licentiate in canon law, for the subdeanery of Glasgow, value, with annexed benefices, 70l. which he obtained on its voidance by the death of Hugh Raa, and held together with the church of Strahravane, but doubts whether his dispensation covers the two benefices, inasmuch as in the absence of the dean, the subdean has cure of souls. He is ready to resign the vicarage. Granted. Nice, 7 Id. Mar. anno 11.

For confirmation of the provision made to him, on petition of King Robert, of the prebend of Almcrum, value 15l. void by the death of Thomas de Barri, who was a member of the household of the cardinal of Scotland, Walter de Wardlaw, and therefore he doubts whether it was reserved to the pope. He has also the perpetual vicarage of Mucton, in the diocese of Glasgow, value 20 marks.

He is ready to resign the church of Cummertreis.

Richard de Cornel, of noble birth, bachelor of canon law, lecturing in the third year in the university of Avignon. For the vicarage of Dunde, distant four miles from his birthplace, value 30l. void by the death of Ralph Wilde, who at the point of death was fraudulently induced by John Wilde to make him his proctor to resign the same by way of exchange, upon which John obtained the said vicarage and holds it. John holds the benefices as above (f. 75d.), the value of the chaplaincy being 5l. and he is ready to resign the rectory.
