For the deanery of Salisbury, void by the death of Bertrand de Fargiis, who died before he obtained possession of it on the death of Raymund de Fargiis, cardinal of New St. Mary's, notwithstanding that he has benefices in France, and is litigating in the Roman court about a canonry of Lincoln and prebend of Nassington, and has had papal provision made to him of the archdeaconry of Leicester, on its voidance by the death of the said cardinal, which he is prepared to resign.

Provision was made to Raynald Orsini (de filiis Ursi), papal notary, of a canonry and prebend and the archdeaconry of Leicester, on their voidance by the death of R cardinal of New St. Mary's, and to B. de Fargiis of the deanery and a canonry and prebend of Salisbury, void by the death of the said cardinal, and whereas B. died before he obtained possession of the same, whereupon the pope made provision of them to Raynald, who on obtaining them was bound to resign the canonry, prebend, and archdeaconry of Leicester. Aymer therefore, on behalf of Arnald de Gavarreto, canon of Bordeaux, prays for the said canonry, prebend, and archdeaconry, notwithstanding that he has a canonry, prebend, and the sub-deanery of Salisbury, and has papal provision made to him of canonries with expectation of prebends in York, St. Severin, Bordeaux, and Saintes.

John de Welwyk, a Carmelite, bachelor of theology, of the diocese of York. Signification that on completing for his purgation an enjoined penance, and in fear for his life unless he publicly acknowledged that he was justly punished, he left his habit, and was deputed reader by Raymund, then bishop of Cassino, among the monks of that church, where he remained for nine years. He, having been absolved for excommunication and irregularity, prays for licence to pass to the order, of St. Benedict, so that he may be received in the monastery of Subiaco, or in some other monastery of that order in the lands of the realm of Sicily.
