A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Goddrich and others:
To return a Bill sent down to them, concerning making the Rivers of Stower and Salwerp navigable; wherein the House of Commons have made some Alterations and Provisos, and desire their Lordships Concurrence therein.
Knollys' Bill.
The Earl of Bridgwater reported, "That the Committee have considered the Bill to enable Thomas Knollys to sell the Lands of Sir Henry Knoyllis, for the Payment of Debts, and raising Portions for the Younger Children; and it doth appear that there are only Infants concerned therein: But the Committee are informed, by Sir John Duncomb, Uncle to the Children, that the said Children will be undone if this Bill be not passed, there being no other Way to be taken for the providing for them; which the Committee leaves to their Lordships Consideration."

Rivers of Stower and Salwerp Bill.
Next, the Alterations and Provisos in the Bill concerning making the Rivers of Stower and Salwarp navigable, were read Twice, as they were brought from the House of Commons; and ORDERED, That this House approves of, and agrees to, these Alterations and Provisos.
ORDERED, That the Lord Wharton is added to the Committee for the Bill of Uniformity.
Bill for Relief of Officers, &c. maimed in the King's Service.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for Relief of poor and maimed Officers and Soldiers, who have faithfully served His Majesty and His Royal Father in the late Wars."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this Day Sevennight, the Thirteenth of this Instant Month, is appointed for hearing the Counsel, at this Bar, on the Behalf of the Lord Mohun (a Member of Parliament) on the one Part, and the Counsel of Mrs. Dorothy Gifford on the other Part; who are then to state to this House the Matter of Difference between the said Parties, that such further Directions may be given therein as their Lordships shall think fit.
