PRAYERS.

Judges to attend the Committee for Petitions.

Upon Report by the Earl of Dorsett from the Committee of Petitions:

ORDERED, That the Judges be desired, that they will appoint among themselves One of their Number, to attend the Lords Committees for Petitions, on the Days of their Sitting, for their Assistance.

Notice to be given of the Meetings of the Committee.

And upon the same Report:

It is ORDERED, That the Order of this House, for appointing constant Days for the Committee for Petitions to meet, shall be set upon the Doors of this House, that the Petitioners may take Notice thereof.

Etrrick's Bill.

The Earl of Bollingbrooke reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill to enable Anthony Ettrick to sell Lands, and do think it fit to pass, with some small Alterations;" which, being read Twice, were Agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act enabling Anthony Ettrick to sell Lands, for Payment of Debts."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

E. of Derby and his Purchasers.

The House having heard this Day the Counsel of the Earl of Derby and the Purchasers, upon the whole Merits of the Cause, as it stands stated in the Bill depending in this House:

It is ORDERED, That this Business shall be taken into Consideration on Monday Morning next, in order to a Resolution therein.

Adjourn.
