ORDERED, That the Committee for the Earl of Cleveland's Bill do meet this Afternoon.

Sir R. Baesh's Bill.

The Lord Lexington reported from the Committee, "That they have considered the Bill concerning Sir Ralph Baesh; and think it fit to pass as it is, without any Alterations."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for settling several Lands of Sir Edward Baesh Knight, upon Sir Ralph Baesh, Knight of the Bath, Heir of the said Sir Edward, and his Heirs."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass for a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Orlibear's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for the reviving a Settlement of certain Lands on John Orlibear, for Life; the Remainder to the Sons of the said John successively, and the Heirs Males of their Bodies."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is referred to the same Committee as the Earl of Cleveland's Bill is; to meet this Afternoon.

Weavers, &c. of Worcester, Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, an Act, intituled, "An Act for Confirmation of the Charter and Privileges of the Master, Wardens, and Commonalty, of Weavers, Fullers, and Clothiers, in the City of Worcester."

The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass for a Law?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message from H. C. with Bills.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Phillip Warwicke Knight, and others; who brought up several Bills, which have passed that House, wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired:

1. "An Act against Tumults and Disorders, upon Pretence of preparing or presenting Public Petitions, or other Addresses, to His Majesty or the Parliament," which Bill was sent down to them from their Lordships; wherein the House of Commons have made some Alterations, and desire their Lordships Concurrence therein.

2. "An Act for the declaring, vesting, and settling, of all such Monies, Goods, and other Things, in His Majesty, which were received, levied, or collected, in these late Times, and are remaining in the Hands or Possession of any Treasurers, Receivers, Collectors, or others, not pardoned by the Act of Oblivion."

3. "An Act for the restoring of all such Advowsons, Rectories Impropriate, Glebe Lands, and Tithes, to His Majesty's loyal Subjects, as were taken from them; and making void certain Charges imposed on them upon their Compositions for Delinquency, by the late usurped Powers."

Message from H. C. with Bills; and to expedite Two formerly brought up.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Edward Seymour Esquire, and others; who brought up several Bills, which have been passed that House, wherein their Lordships Concurrence is desired:

1. "An Act for Explanation of a Clause contained in an Act of Parliament made the Seventeenth Year of the late King Charles, intituled, An Act for Repeal of a Branch of a Statute, Primo Eliz. concerning Commissioners for Causes Ecclesiastical."

2. "An Act for providing necessary Carriages for His Majesty, in His Royal Progress and Removals."

3. "An Act for settling the Manor and Lands of Kemsford in Sir Henry Fredericke Thynn and the Heirs of his Body; and the Manor of Buckland and divers other Manors and Lands in him and the Heirs Males of his Body."

4. To put their Lordships in Mind of the Dispatch of Two Bills lately brought up; videlicet, the Bill for Conformity, and the Bill concerning Corporations.

E. of Derby's Bill.

ORDERED, That the Report of the Bill concerning the Earl of Derby is put off until the next Meeting of this House after the Adjournment.

Bill to prevent Tumults, &c.

Next, the Amendments and Alterations in the Bill against Tumults were read Thrice, and Agreed to.

Bill for regulating Corporations.

ORDERED, That the Bill concerning Corporations shall be read on Wednesday Morning next.

ORDERED, That the Lord Viscount Stafford and the Lord of Abergaveny are added to the Committee for the Earl of Cleveland's Bill.

Ld. Howard, Privilege in Lloyd's Suit against him as Guardian of L. Boteles.

Upon the Oath of Walter Lloyd, "That the Rents of a Manor and Lands, in the County of Hertford, have for divers Years last past been paid to Edward Lord Howard of Esc. as Guardian to William Lord Boteler, an Ideot; the said Lord Howard being a Peer of this Realm, and Lord of Parliament:"

It is ORDERED, That an Action of Trespass and Ejectment being brought in the King's Bench, by William Goodwyn Plaintiff, against John Davys Gentleman, Defendant, for the Manor and Lands aforesaid, wherein the Right of the said Lord Howard, on the Behalf of the said Lord Boteler an Ideot, is concerned, having the Grant of the Guardianship of his Lordship from His Majesty under the Great Seal of England, shall, by reason of the Privilege of Parliament, be stayed, and no further Proceedings had therein, during the Privilege of Parliament, unless the said Lord Howard shall wave the same: And all Connsel, Attornies, Solicitors, and other Persons employed or to be employed in this Cause, are to take Notice of this Order, and yield Obedience thereunto, as they will answer the contrary to this House.
