Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for settling the Manors of Knole, Seale, and Kempsing, in the County of Kent, upon the Earl of Dorsett and his Heirs; and charging the Manor of Bexhill, and the Manor or Farm of Cowding, and other Lands, in the County of Sussex, with a Rent Charge of One Hundred and Thirty Pounds per Annum in Lieu thereof."
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall pass as a Law?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Cary versus Cromwell.
The House having made a Progress in the Hearing of Counsel, in the Cause between Cary and Crumwell:
It is ORDERED, That this House will proceed further therein on Wednesday Morning next.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Brampston and Mr. Hobart:
To deliver to them the Bill concerning the Earl of Dorsett, and to desire their Concurrence therein.

Skynner and Chute's Petition, concerning Sir E. Powel's Bill.
ORDERED, That the Petition of Constantine Skynner, (fn. 1) and the Petition of Mr. Chute, be referred to the Committee for the Bill concerning Sir Edw. Powell's Fine; and the Lord Marquis of Dorchester, the Lord De la Warr, the Lord Petre, and the Lord Wharton, be added to that Committee.
ORDERED, That the Lord Windsor and the Lord Wharton are added to the Committee for College Leases.
