E. of Sterling & al. versus Levingston.

The House this Day heard the Counsel and Witnesses on Behalf of the Earl of Stirling and others Plaintiffs, against Mr. Levinston and his Wife Defendants.

And Mr. Levinston desired some further Time, to be heard, to what concerns him and his Wife, and to the Credit of the Witnesses now produced.

It is ORDERED, That Mr. Levinston shall be heard, to make his Defence, by his Counsel and Witnesses, on this Day Fortnight, being the 20th of this Instant July at this Bar; and that he shall have Liberty to make Use of such Examinations of Witnesses in this Case as have been formerly taken in any Court of Record, and are now dead.

Adjourn.
