Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Trustees to make Sale of the Inheritance of the Twelfth Part of several Manors, Lands, and Tenements, of Bluet Wallop Esquire, during his Minority; and to purchase other Lands with the Money to be raised by such Sale, to be settled to the same Uses as the said Twelfth Part was so settled."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir John Francklyn and Sir Robert Legard:
To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming of a Lease of a Piece of Ground from the Rector and Churchwardens of the Parish of St. Martin's Orgars, London, for Liberty to build a Church therein, for the Worship and Service of GOD in the French Tongue, according to the Usage of the Church of England."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Friday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Gee versus Turnor.
The House being this Day moved, on the Behalf of Francis Gee and his Wife, Respondents to the Appeal of Sir Edward Turnor:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Sixth Day of March next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof the said Francis Gee is to cause Notice to be given to the said Appellant.
Whitmore, Leave for a Bill.
Upon reading the Petition of William Whitmore Esquire and Richard Whitmore his Brother, Infants under the Age of One and Twenty Years, by Anne Whitmore their Mother and Guardian; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, to enable them to let Leases of their Estates:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave given them for bringing in a Bill, as desired.
D of Norfolk's Bill for a Divorce, Counsel, &c. heard:
Counsel for the Duke and Dutchess of Norfolke were called in.
And the Examination of William Bayly was read to him; and he being cross-examined by the Dutchess's Counsel, and that Examination read to him, he signed them.
Then John Curry, being called in and sworn, said, I went to serve Mr. Lafountaine and Mr. Lane with the Order for their Attendance.
"Mr. Lafountain's Wife lay-in. He said, "He could not be forced to come; he was not a Subject of England; and is the Lady Dutchess's Servant."
"Mr. Lane gave me a Letter to the Clerk of the Parliaments; which was read; and in it he desired further Time, not having Horses, nor could ride fast."
The Dutchess's Counsel moved for Copies of the Depositions taken, and Time for the Dutchess to be heard; and withdrew.
Then the following Orders were made:
Copy of the Depositions to be given either Side:
"ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Copies of the Depositions or Examinations be delivered to either Side, and Copies of such Part of the Journals as relate to this Matter."
Dutchess of Norfolk's Counsel to proceed.
"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, on Monday the Fourth Day of March next, this House will peremptorily proceed to hear the Dutchess of Norfolk's Counsel and Witnesses; at which Time the Duke of Norfolk's Counsel shall be present; and all the Lords summoned to attend."
Ale and Beer Measures to ascertain, Bill.
Whereas To-morrow was appointed for the House to be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for ascertaining the Measures for retailing of Ale and Beer:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee thereupon, on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
