Treasury warrant to the Barons of the Exchequer in Scotland to give warrant to the Commissioners of Customs and the Commissioners of Excise there to pay to the Commissioners of the Equivalent the sum of 7,911l. 4s. 3¾d. as imprest and upon account, to be (with the like sum issued by virtue of the Treasury warrant of Aug. 24 last, Calendar of Treasury Books, Vol. XXX, pp. 419–20) as in full of the sum of 15,822l. 8s. 7¾d. directed (by the Act [1 Geo. One William Rawlinson is recommended to my Lords as a fit person for that employment. They direct you to discharge the said Hudson (Hodson) from the said place and to appoint Rawlinson in his stead.
