Ravenscroft versus Mayes.

The House being this Day moved, "That Thomas Ravenscroft and Nathaniel Herbert may have Leave to withdraw their Appeal depending in this House, to which Robert Mayes is Respondent, and hath consented:"

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Appeal may be withdrawn, as desired; and that the same or like Appeal shall not be brought in this Case.

Jackson versus Warren.

The House being this Day moved, on the Behalf of Hugh Warren, Respondent to the Appeal of Samuel Jackson, "That a further Day may be allowed for hearing of the said Cause, he not being able to get his Counsel by Wednesday next:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause on Wednesday the Seventh Day of February next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

D'Harcourt & al. Nat. Bill.

The Lord Viscount Longueville reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Naturalization of Oliver D'Harcourt, John Barraton, and John Vaugensinner," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Sir George Downing versus Cage:

After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Sir George Downing Baronet, as also upon the Answer of Seckford Cage put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Sir George Downing shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decrees from which he appealed shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed.

Aliens Children to inherit, Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Edw'd Hussey and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable His Majesty's natural-born Subjects to inherit the Estate of their Ancestors, either Lineal or Collateral, notwithstanding their Father or Mother were Aliens;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Sidersin's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Exton, and other Lands, in the County of Somerset, late the Estate of Thomas Siderfin Esquire, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir John Hoskyns and Sir Lacon William Child:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Adjourn.
