Memorandum. His Majesty by a commission under the great seal dated the 25th June 1716 did determine the commission dated 11 Oct. 1715 whereby Robert Walpole, Esq.; Sir William St. Quintin; Paul Methuen; Daniel, Lord Finch; and Thomas Newport, Esq., were made Commissioners for executing the office of Treasurer of the Exchequer and appoints the said Robert Walpole, Sir William St. Quintin, Paul Methuen, Thomas Newport, now Lord Torrington, with Richard Edgecombe, Esq., to be Commissioners for executing the said office.
