1. Letters and other papers touching the affairs of the Comrs for Transports in this year. 7 pages and 3 halves.

5. The several sums which appear to have been issued on account of Rymer's Fœdera (as they stand in the entries of the Treasury). A note at the end states that the whole number delivered was 4,295 volumes. It might be conjectured that the rate of payment was 2l. 10s. per sheet, as that sum was paid for several supernumerary sheets. ? 1713 or 1714.
On the dorse is:—“Que. whether some part of ye sd sums of mony payd for Mr Rymer's Fœdera, were not in consideration of his pains for collating, &c. ye sayd books, or was all payd to ye publisher of ye sd books for printing ye same, or what proportion was payd to either.”
Minuted:—“Write to Mr Anstis to know how the respective sums for each volume of Rymer were proportioned.” 1½ pages.

13. Petition of Robert Trelawney, late commissary of provisions to the castle of St Philip of Port Mahon in the island of Minorca, to the Lord High Treasurer, praying to be appointed to collect the royal revenues of the island. ? 1713.
Minuted:—“Write to him to let my Lord know the state of the revenues, if he has any.” 1 page.

14. “An estimate of the expense of finishing ye workes already begun at St Philip's castle of Port Mahon, as also ye expence of building barracks & magazines & for the additional projects, every thing being calculated by a cane, being the measure of the country, every cane containing 5 feet in length, & consequently every cubical cane is 125 foot.” [? 1713 or later.] 9 pages.

15. Report, unsigned, to the Lord [High Treasurer] on the report of the Controllers of the Army Accounts concerning the making good of 9,593l. 7s. 9d. due on bills given for 150,000l. by Sir John Lambert, Richard Hoare, Esq., and others. The 562l. 10s. craved by the remitters for discount at 12s. 6d. per 100l. should be allowed, and the sum of 1,578l. 1s. 7d. should also be allowed to the remitters. ? 1713. 2 pages.

16. Petition of Charles Douglas, Esq., debtor and accountant to her Majesty, to the Lord High Treasurer, and to John Smith, Lord Chief Baron of the Court of Exchequer, Scotland, and to the rest of the barons there, praying that the Comrs of Excise for Scotland might be compelled to render account of their receipts, as they were burthened with the settlement of a claim of Sir Willm Douglas, Knt, petitioner's late father, to whom the petitioner was executor. “Termino Lammas anno xijo Riñe Anne.” 4 pages.
