A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Conyers and others:
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the vesting and settling the Estate of Anne Bridges, an Infant, in Bermudas, alias The Sommer Islands, in America, in and upon Trustees, to be sold; and laying out the Money arising by such Sale in England, for the Use of the said Anne Bridges;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Which Amendments, being read Twice, were agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.
Also a Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Campion and others:
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Lands of Sir Thomas Seyliard Baronet, in the County of Kent, in Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of his Sisters Portions charged thereon;" to which they have agreed, without any Amendment.

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

The Earl of Bradford reported His Majesty's Answer to the Address relating to Captain Desborow, as followeth; (videlicet,) "That His Majesty will consider of the Address; and give the necessary Directions, in order to what the House desires."

2. "An Act to enable Thomas Okeover Gentleman, Son and Heir Apparent of Rowland Okeover, of Okeover, in the County of Stafford, Esquire, together with the said Rowland Okeover, to make a Jointure and Settlement upon the Marriage of the said Thomas Okeover."
and Byde's.
3. "An Act to enable Thomas Byde Esquire, an Infant, (with the Consent of his Guardians, and next Relations) to make a Contract for the buying in of his Mother's Jointure; and to sell a small Estate in Great Amwell, in the County of Hertford; and likewise for the securing and raising a Portion for Barbara Byde, Sister of the said Thomas Byde, and for other Purposes in the said Act mentioned."
To which said Three Bills they have agreed, without any Amendment.
Sedgmore Roynes, &c. Bill:
The Lord Herbert reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for opening the ancient and making any new Roynes and Watercourses, in and near Sedgmore, in the County of Somerset, for rendering the said Moor more healthful and profitable to the Inhabitants," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Whereas this Day was appointed for the Lord Chief Justice of His Majesty's Court of Common Pleas to report what was offered by Counsel, upon the Petition of the Earl of Warrington, and the Answer of Sir James Langham put in thereunto:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Report shall be made on Friday the Eight and Twentieth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Ward and Levett versus E. of Meath.
Whereas Saturday next was appointed for hearing of the Cause, wherein Edward Ward Esquire and others are Appellants, and Edward Earl of Meath and Cecilia his Wife Respondents:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Cause shall be heard, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Six and Twentieth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Militia Bill.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for raising the Militia of this Kingdom, for the Year One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-nine, although the Month's Pay formerly advanced be not re-paid."
Defective Titles, &c. Bill for the general Quiet of the Subject, against.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the general Quiet of the Subject, against all Pretences of Concealments, Encroachments, or other defective Titles."
ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Wednesday next; at which Time His Majesty's Attorney General and the Lord Mayor of London may be heard, if they think fit
Billingsgate Market Bill, Conference upon.
Then the Lords following were appointed Managers of the Conference to be had this Day with the House of Commons, upon the Subject-matter of the Amendments made by this House, to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making Billingsgate a free Market for Sale of Fish;" (videlicet,)
The Commons being come to the Conference; the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference.
Which being ended, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Steward reported, "That they had attended the Conference; and the Commons do not agree with the Lords Amendment of the Clause (A.)"
ORDERED, That the Report made this Day of the Conference had with the House of Commons, shall be taken into Consideration on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
