William Lowndes to Sir Christopher Wrenn. The Lord Treasurer
has read your report about the method of digesting the records lying
in Cæsar's Chapel in the Tower and notices that there is a building
lying contiguous to two rooms, wherein it is proposed to erect presses
for receiving the records, which hath lately been on fire and with much
difficulty extinguished. Please take care that the said building be
immediately taken down and totally demolished, as well for the
security of the records as of the Tower itself. Out Letters (General)

Warrant by Treasurer Godolphin to the Surveyor General of Crown
Lands for a particular of the custody of Bagshot Park and of the
lodge, laundry, coney warren and other things usually enjoyed by
the Ranger or Keeper thereof with the office of Ranger or Keeper :
in order to a lease thereof to Richard, Earl of Ranelagh.
Prefixing : report by the Surveyor General of Crown Lands on
said Earl's petition for same. The premises were granted to James
Grahme 1687 Dec. 5 ; Grahme assigned in 1699 March 29 to Sir
Edward Seymour, who in 1699 Nov. 21 assigned to said Earl.
According to the Parliamentary Survey in 1650 the premises contain
458 acres worth about 100l. per an. At the time of the above assignments
the same was worth 270l. a year. Warrants not Relating to
