Byde's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Thomas Byde Esquire, an Infant, (with the Consent of his Guardians and next Relations) to make a Contract for the buying in his Mother's Jointure, and to sell a small Estate in Great Amwell, in the County of Hertford; and likewise for the securing and raising a Portion for Barbara Byde, Sister of the said Thomas Byde; and for other Purposes in the Act mentioned."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Seyliard's Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Lands of Sir Thomas Seyliard Baronet, in the County of Kent, in Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of his Sisters Portions charged thereon."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Sir Richard Holford:

To carry down the abovementioned Two Bills, and desire their Concurrence to them.

Captain Desborow's Pot.

The House took into Consideration the Report made the One and Twentieth Instant, upon the Petition of Captain Desborow, and the several Informations taken in that Matter.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

Resolution that he was unjustly broke.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee was of Opinion, That Captain Desborow was unjustly broken; and also that an Address be made to His Majesty, to restore him to His Majesty's Favour, and his own just Rights."

To which the House agreed.

Address to the King, to restore him:

It is Resolved, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it is the Opinion of this House, That Captain Charles Desborow was unjustly broken; and also that an humble Address be presented to His Majesty, from this House, "That he may be restored to His Majesty's Favour, and his own just Rights."

Report upon his Petition to be further considered:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee again To-morrow, to consider further of the Report made the One and Twentieth Instant, upon Captain Desborow's Petition; and all the Lords summoned to attend.

Captains and Officers to attend.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Captains and Officers now in Town, who were at the Council of War when Captain Desborow was broken, do attend this House To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

E. of Warrington versus Sir James Langham.

ORDERED, That this House will hear the Cause wherein the Earl of Warrington is Appellant, and Sir James Langham and Anne Tipping Widow are Respondents, on Saturday the First Day of April next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

James & al. Conviction for Coote's Death to be brought at the E. of Warwick's Trial.

The House being moved, "That the Convictions of Mr. James and others, which were found at The Old Bayly, in relation to the Death of Richard Coote Esquire, may be produced at the Trial of the Earl of Warwick and Holland:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the proper Officer, in whose Custody the said Convictions are, do attend this House therewith, on Tuesday the Eight and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
