L. Mohun committed to The Tower, for the Death of Coote:

The House being informed, "That Charles Lord Mohun hath surrendered himself to the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House;" and he standing indicted for the Murder of Richard Coote Esquire:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Charles Lord Mohun, now in Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, shall be, and is hereby, committed Prisoner to His Majesty's Tower of London, there to be kept in safe Custody until he shall be delivered by due Course of Law; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Lord Lucas, Chief Governor of His Majesty's Tower of London, and to the Deputy Governor thereof.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House do carry the Lord Mohun, now in his Custody, to His Majesty's Tower of London.

L. Mohun to be tried:

Address, for Lord High Steward at his Trial.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do attend His Majesty, to let Him know, "That this House hath appointed the Trial of Charles Lord Mohun to begin in Westm'r Hall, on Tuesday the Eight and Twentieth Day of this Instant March; and humbly to desire His Majesty, that He will be pleased to appoint a Lord High Steward, to continue during the said Trial."

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Real Estate late of Thomas Lascells Esquire, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of his Debts," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Cowslade's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for selling divers Freehold and Leasehold Houses, the Estate of Thomas Cowslade, an Infant, and others, to discharge a Mortgage; and to purchase other Lands, to be settled to the like Uses."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom Sir Francis Andrews' Bill was committed; whose Lordships, or any Five of them, are to meet on Thursday the Sixth Day of April next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
