setting Dogs") the sum of 500l. in lieu of all pretences on account of
any arrears of salaries or board wages which might by any ways be
claimed by him in respect of the said several places or offices, viz.
up to 1697 Dec. 25 except only as to an allowance of 50l. per an.
on the establishment of the Office of Ordnance and all bills of riding
charges payable in the Office of the Treasurer of the Chamber:
and further to grant him a salary of 380l. per an. in respect of all
