L. Lisburne's Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the better settling the several Estates of the Right Honourable John Lord Viscount Lisburne, and the Lady Viscountess Lisburne his Wife."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Meredith:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Message from thence, for a Conference about Mr. Bertie attending, concerning the Libel.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Spencer and others:

To desire a Conference with this House, upon the Subject-matter of the Message from this House to them, in relation to Mr. Robert Bertie.

Answer.

The Commons were called in; and told, "That the Lords have considered of the Message; and will return an Answer by Messengers of their own."

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Henry Colt and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to naturalize Charles May Esquire;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the Amendment made by their Lordships to the said Bill.

Burgh's Bill.

The Lord Ferrers reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling certain Lands in Essex on Thomas Burgh Esquire and his Heirs, in Lieu of other Lands, of greater Value, conveyed by him according to a Decree, and the Will of Sir Samuel Jones deceased," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

ORDERED, That the said Bill be engrossed.

E. of Derby versus L. Fairfax.

Upon reading this Day the Answer of the Earl of Derby to the Petition of the Lord Fairfax:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Answer shall be considered To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock.

Fletcher and belcher discharged.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Thomas Fletcher and Thomas Belcher, now in the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for Breach of the Earl of Kent's Privilege, shall be, and they are hereby, discharged, without paying Fees; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

Sir C. W. Bampfield's Bill.

The Lord Howard of Escrick reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable certain Trustees therein named to make, renew, and fill up, Leases of the Estate of Sir Copplestone Warwick Bampfyeld, during the Minority of the said Sir Copplestone Warwick Bampfyeld. and John Bampfyeld his Brother," as sit to pass, without any Amendment.

E. Rochford versus L. Montgomery.

After Debate this Day, upon the Petition of the Earl of Rochford, claiming Privilege of Parliament:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel thereupon on Thursday the One and Thirtieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock; as also Counsel on the Behalf of William Herbert Esquire, commonly called Lord Montgomery.

Woollen Manufactures, Bill to encourage.

Whereas Friday next was appointed to hear Counsel for and against the Bill, intituled, "An Act to encourage the Woollen Manufacture in England, and to restrain the Exportation of Woollen Manufactures from Ireland into any Foreign Parts; and for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool from England and Ireland:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all Persons who shall think themselves therein concerned shall be heard, by themselves or Counsel, on Tuesday the Nine and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock.

Morley versus Jones, in Error.

Whereas Tuesday next was appointed, for hearing the Errors argued, upon a Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Sir William Morley is Plaintiff, and Peter Jones Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Errors argued on Friday the First Day of April next, at Eleven of the Clock.

Exchequer Bills, Committee to consider of the Practice of.

Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Practice of Exchequer Bills; and have Power to send for Books, Persons, Papers, and Records; whose Lordships, having considered thereof, and sent for and heard such Persons concerning the same as they shall think fit, are afterwards to report to the House.

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Lloyd versus Tym.

Upon Report from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Petition of Elizabeth Lloyd Widow, from a Decree in the Court of Chancery, in cross Causes, wherein the Petitioner was Complainant; in one, against Martha Tym and James Cardrew Defendants; and Martha Tym was Complainant in the other, against the Petitioner and Elizabeth Temple, Anne Williams, and the said James Cardrew, Defendants, on the Behalf of Martha Tym and James Cardrew:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said James Cardrew and Martha Tym may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Wednesday the Thirtieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock.
