PRAYERS.
Merchants, &c. to be heard, for the Bill for Relief of Creditors in Cases of Bankruptcy.
Upon reading the Petition of several Merchants and Traders of London, on Behalf of themselves and others, being Creditors of several Persons who have been necessitated to withdraw themselves by reason of Losses and Misfortunes; praying to be heard, at the Bar, to offer Reasons for passing of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors, by making Composition with their Debtors, in case Two Thirds in Number and Value do agree."
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by themselves or Counsel, as desired, on Wednesday next, at Eleven of the Clock.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Richard Onflow and others:
Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing the Highway between Ryegate in the County of Surrey and Crawley in the County of Sussex;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Harley and others:
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the speedy satisfying of the Debts of Francis late Lord Holles, deceased;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Which Amendments, being read Three Times, were agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Gerey and others:
To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate of Mary Savill an Infant, upon her Marriage;" to which they have agreed, without any Amendment.
Milson's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Messuages, Lands, and Tenements, late of Charles Milson, deceased, in Trustees, to sell, for Payment of Debts and Legacies; and lay out the Surplus-money in a Purchase of Lands, for the Use of Edward Milson and his Heirs, according to the Will of the said Charles Milson."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Wednesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
India Silks, &c. to prohibit, Bill:
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to restrain the wearing of all Wrought Silks and Bengalls imported into this Kingdom from Persia and East India, and all Callicoes printed or stained there."
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Cornwallis reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."
Which, being read Twice, were agreed to.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to restrain the wearing of all Wrought Silks and Bengalls imported into this Kingdom from Persia and East India, and all Callicoes printed or stained there."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
