Message from H. C. with a Bill.
A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Norris and others:
Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to attaint Sir John Fenwick Baronet of High Treason;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
ORDERED, That the said Bill be read on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
No Lord to go into the House of Commons whilst sitting.
The House being moved, "That the Order made Yesterday (that no Lord shall go into the House of Commons, during the Sitting of that House, without Leave of this House) might be razed out of the Roll of Standing Orders:"
Which being read, and Debate thereupon;
This Question was put, "Whether the Order made Yesterday shall remain upon the Roll of Standing Orders?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
E. Chesterfield, Time for attending prolonged;
A Letter from the Earl of Chesterfield was read, desiring to be excused his Attendance.
ORDERED, That he hath allowed him for his Attendance until Monday Fortnight.

A Letter from the Lord Bishop of St. Asaph was read, desiring to be excused his Attendance.
ORDERED, That he hath allowed until Monday Three Weeks for his Attendance.

A Letter from the Lord Viscount Hatton was read, desiring to be excused his Attendance.
To which the House agreed; being satisfied of his Inability to attend.
L. Brooke to attend, or be attached.
ORDERED, That the Lord Brooke be taken into Custody, if not here by Tuesday next.
L. Coventry to be taken into Custody, for not attending.
Whereas, by an Order of the Fourteenth Instant, Letters were directed to be writ, by the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England, to divers Lords, and amongst others to Thomas Lord Coventrie, requiring his Attendance this Day, or, in Default thereof, that he should be taken into Custody; and whereas, upon reading over the List of those Lords who were ordered this Day to attend, Thomas Lord Coventry was absent:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy or Deputies, do forthwith take into Custody the said Thomas Lord Coventry, and bring him to this House; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
To Peter Persehouse Esquire, Serjeant at Arms attending this House, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do humbly move His Majesty, from this House, "That He will be pleased to give Order, that all such original Papers, relating to any Confession of Sir John Fenwick, whether written by him or taken from him, may be communicated to this House."
Sir J. Fenwick to be brought to this House:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Keeper of the Prison of Newgate do bring to this House, in safe Custody, the Body of Sir John Fenwick Baronet, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
Sir J. Fenwick to be allowed Pen, Ink, and Paper.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir John Fenwick Baronet, now a Prisoner in Newgate for High Treason, shall be allowed Pen, Ink, and Paper, to be used only in the Presence of the Keeper of Newgate, and such other Person as the Secretary of State shall think fit.
To the Keeper of the Prison of Newgate, his Deputy or Deputies, and every of them.
Precedents of Entry of Orders being stopped before entered, &c.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Clerks do search Precedents, whether Orders have not been made for stopping the Entry of Orders before entered, and whether Lords ever had Leave from this House to go to the House of Commons.
State of the Nation.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall take into Consideration His Majesty's Speech, and the State of the Nation, To-morrow, next after the Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the further remedying the ill State of the Coin of the Kingdom."
