This Day Nicholas Lord Bishop of Chester took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.
Warner's Act, Bill to explain.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act explaining a former Act of Parliament, intituled, (An Act for enabling Trustees to sell Part of the Estate of Edmund Warner deceased, for Payment of his Debts, and for preserving the rest for the Benefit of his Heir)."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Tuesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

The Clerks this Day, pursuant to the Order of the Twelfth Instant, gave the House an Account of the Precedents they had found in the Journals.
And, after some Time spent in Debate, the following Order was made:

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That such Lords as do not attend the Service of this House, by a Day to be appointed, shall be sent for in Custody."

No Lord to be absent without Leave:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That no Lord shall absent himself from the Service of this House, without the Leave of the House, upon Pain of being sent for in Custody; and that no such Leave be asked but between the Hours of Twelve and Two of the Clock.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Right Honourable the Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of England do send the following Letter to the Lords this Day absent:

"My Lord,
"I am commanded, by the most Honourable House of Peers, to send to your Lordship the enclosed Copy of their Order; and to acquaint your Lordship, that the Day prefixed by the House for your Attendance is : And I am also commanded to let your Lordship know, that the said Order will be very strictly put in Execution. I am,

"Your Lordship's most humble Servant."
