PRAYERS.

Eastmond and Nayle versus Sandys.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Joseph Eastmond Executor of Henry Eastmond, and Samuel Nayle, Defendants in His Majesty's Court of Exchequer, to a Bill there exhibited against them by Edwin Sandyes Complainant, from a Decree made in the said Court, the Six and Twentieth Day of May last; and praying the Reversal thereof, and Proceedings thereupon:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Edwin Sandyes may have a Copy of the said Petition; and shall and he is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Monday the Thirtieth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Guineas, for importing and coining, Bill:

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for importing and coining Guineas and Half Guineas."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for importing and coining Guineas and Half Guineas."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have passed it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Pitt:

To let them know, the Lords have passed the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Mason versus Berrington.

Upon reading the Petition of Dodington Mason, Appellant in a Cause depending in this House, to which Thomas Berrington Esquire is Respondent; and praying a Day may be appointed for hearing of the said Cause:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Cause shall be heard, by Counsel, at the Bar, on both Sides, on Monday the Three and Twentieth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
