Earl Stamford reported the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling a Jointure on Jane the Wife of Colonel Edward Mathews, Daughter of Sir Thomas Armstrong, deceased," with some Amendments.
Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the Amendments.
Orphans of London, Court of Inquiry, Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for erecting a Court of Inquiry, in order to the Relief of the distressed Orphans of the City of London."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to the Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet on Saturday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
Goodwin's Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of George Hitchcock Esquire William Bird Merchant, and several others, who are Creditors of Richard Slaney, against Obadiah Sedgwick, and the Judgement of this House made in this Cause the Twentieth Day of December last:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of George Hitchcock and others be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords following, or any Five of them; to consider of the said Petition and Judgement, and to report their Opinions to this House whether the said Petition is fit to be received or not; whose Lordships are to meet on Monday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers:
Dutchess of Beaufort against E. of Aylesbury's Bill.
The House being this Day moved, on the Behalf of her Grace the Dutchess of Beaufort, "That she may be heard before the committing of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the making a Twelve Years Lease, made by the Earl and Countess of Aylisbury for Payment of Debts (which was determinable on their Deaths), to have Continuance absolutely for the Twelve Years:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That her Grace the Dutchess of Beaufort shall be heard, by her Counsel, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, before the committing of the said Bill, as desired.
Aspinall versus Legh.
Upon reading the Petition of Gilbert Aspinall Esquire, Respondent to the Petition and Appeal of Richard Legh Esquire and others, depending in this House; shewing, "That he hath answered to the Appeal; and praying, that the said Richard Legh and others do forthwith bring into this House their Rent Rolls and Books of Accompts, upon Oath, Five Days before the Four and Twentieth Day of this Instant November, on which Day it is appointed to be heard, that the Matters in Question may not be concealed from, but may come entirely before, this House:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Richard Legh Esquire, and the other Appellants in this Cause, be, and are hereby, required to bring to the Clerk of the Parliaments, or his Deputy, the Rent Rolls and Books of Accompt, upon Oath, mentioned in the said Petition of Gilbert Aspinall, on Thursday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Jones versus Swayne.
The House being moved, "That William Jones and William Bray may have further Time for answering to the Petition of William Swayne, they not being served until Monday last with the Order of this House:"
